We sadly said goodbye to the quirky and talented Joey Cook. I was sad to see her go but based on the bottom 2 she was the one who performed the weakest. It was only fair that she was the one to leave. Now that they are singing to songs I will rank them based on each round.
Round 1:
6th: Tyanna Jones - Why Do Fools Fall In Love: This song didn't do Tyanna's voice justice. It was just ok coming from her when in the past she has been amazing. This point in the competition it is hard to get back from a stumble although her second performance may have saved her.
5th: Rayvon Owen - Long Train Running: This was a very strong performance from Rayvon with a few off moments here and there but overall he was very solid tonight. I just think the other 4 contestants out performed him this round. I think he's going to be in the bottom 2 but I'm not sure if he's going to stay or leave.
4th: Quentin Alexander - Are You Gonna Go My Way: This performance of Quentin's was probably one of the best I heard from him so far in the competition. With that being said let me talk about what happened with Harry Connick Jr., I get that Quentin was upset by the bottom 2 and I didn't take it the wrong way that he should leave after those comments. However, I fear for his safety because of this outburst because I could see millions of grandmas who watch the show being turned off by him and saying Harry was right. The only thing I think is what JLO said is that he needs to learn to control his emotions of being upset about that.
3rd: Jax - Piece Of My Heart: This is the Jax I missed so much last week. I think this performance was another strong one from Jax even though it wasn't my favorite thing she has done overall. I feel like she has a 50/50 shot of being safe or being in the bottom 2.
2nd: Clark Beckham - Superstition: This was the PERFECT choice for Clark. I was in awe the entire performance when Clark sang. I can't even explain how much I love watching him perform every week. I think he will sail through to the next week no problem.
1st: Nick Fradiani - American Girl: Okay coming in at this week's biggest surprise is Nick Fradiani. I am so proud of Nick coming through when I feel it mattered the most. This week to me was one of Nick's finest moments and it was the right time to peak for him. If he continues down this path I think he may knock out a few people no one expects him to.
Round 2:
6th: Quentin Alexander - The Sound Of Silence: I just don't like this song I guess. This was an okay performance from Quentin. I've just heard him do better in the competition. There were a few off moments within the song. I think he may be in a lot of danger this week just because of what happened earlier in the show. Status: Not Safe.
5th: Jax - Beat It: To be honest I did not hate it like half of my twitter line did. I actually found myself very into this performance of Jax's. I don't think she quite measured up to the other contestant's performances this round but I do think it was entertaining. This song was very hit or miss with Jax so I don't know how it will go over. Status: Not Safe.
4th: Clark Beckham - Moon River: This performance of Clark's was gorgeous but it just didn't lead me anywhere like his other performances have. It was beautiful and perfect sounding but it just didn't get me excited. Status: Safe for the week.
3rd: Rayvon Owen - Always On My Mind: Rayvon has been growing by leaps and bounds and I find myself rooting for him because I always love a good underdog story. I know a lot of people are pissed he got the twitter save, I'm not one of them just because he really did a great job with both performances, even though they weren't perfect he fought his way for this Top 6 spot. Status: Not Safe.
2nd: Tyanna Jones - Proud Mary: And with her comeback is Tyanna Jones who killed her second song. I honestly think with 'Stay' and 'Proud Mary' so far she is setting herself up to quite possibly beat out everyone's Top 2 Clark & Jax and she may just put herself into that finale against Clark. In my opinion any way this season goes will be great. Status: Safe for the week.
1st: Nick Fradiani - Only The Good Die Young: This was by far Nick's best performance to date and he finally peaked at the right time on the show. I am so proud of him for having one hell of a good night on the show. He literally fought so hard for his spot moving forward and I think he may have gotten it. Status: Safe for the week.
Who SHOULD be the bottom 2:
Quentin Alexander and Rayvon Owen
Who WILL be the bottom 2:

I think it could go either way.

Top 7 Perform
Tonight we said goodbye to Qaasim which is great to see the twitter save seems to be weeding out the weakest contestants. I am really enjoying this Idol twist so far. I hope it can take the place of the judges save next season. Anyway here is how I feel the Top 7 did this week:
7th - Rayvon Owen - Set Fire To The Rain: This was the performance that wasn't for Rayvon. Although I could clearly see the passion in his eyes while he performed the song I just feel the vocal was much too weak to make up for lost ground. I'm glad he got the twitter save, however I think 2 times is all he's going to get because the 6 contestants ahead of him are just in a league of their own. Status: Most likely going home.
6th - Jax - Poker Face: It pains me to put Jax this low. You have no idea. This performance of Jax's was not bad by any stretch of the imagination but it just didn't have that special spark I've gotten from Jax's previous performances. I hope America can keep those performances in mind when they vote this week, otherwise Jax may find herself in need of the twitter save. Status: Not Safe.
5th - Joey Cook - Wrecking Ball: This performance was really nice from Joey, there were times when I felt she struggled a bit for the notes. I think it was solid but there were others who outsang her and had real moments tonight while this was just a solid performance from Joey. Status: Not Safe.
4th - Nick Fradiani - Teenage Dream: This was by far Nick's greatest performance this week and I am so glad to seem him making so many strides forward this week. I was surprised that he wasn't in need of the twitter save but I was glad to see him move on because I think he deserves to go far. I think he really needs to learn how to connect a little bit more like he did during "Babylon" in Hollywood Week. I hope he can do that next week if he survives. Status: Not Safe.
3rd - Clark Beckham - Make It Rain: Okay this seems to be my controversial choice because almost everyone put Clark first saying this was better than "The Trouble With Love Is". I thought it was solid and just okay at the beginning. Once he got into the song towards the end and really got into the grit and emotion behind the song I was like "okay there's the Clark I know and love". Last week in my opinion was just better from him. None the less I think he did another great performance. Status: Safe for the week.
2nd - Quentin Alexander - Latch: This performance was such a moment from Quentin. I am so happy to see him do so well especially with an uptempo which he hasn't done many of and the last time he did an uptempo it resulted in him needing the judges wildcard save. Never the less this performance really showed what Quentin could do in the competition. I think if he keeps this up we may be seeing him on tour. Status: Safe for the week.
1st - Tyanna Jones - Stay: She's baaaaaaaack! This was so beautiful from Tyanna. There literally are no words to describe how amazing Tyanna did tonight. I think this may have been one of the Top 2 performances of the season thus far. I am so glad to see Tyanna in her element and so connected to the lyrics. This is the Tyanna I've been waiting for to blow everyone out of the water with her performances. Status: Safe for the week

Top 7 Week Song Selections
This was based off the current Top 100 on billboard
Tyanna Jones - One Last Time (Ariana Grande): I think this song could be great from Tyanna. She could really slay the high notes this song calls for.
Jax - Love Me Like You Do (Ellie Golding): This song is litterally perfect for Jax I would be more surprised if she didn't end up picking this song.
Clark Beckham - I'm Not The Only One (Sam Smith): This song could highlight so many of Clark strong soulful points. I think it is the perfect choice for him.
Nick - Take Me To Church (Hozier): I think this song would really suit Nick's vibe of performances. I think he could have a real moment with this song if he chose to go with it.
Rayvon - Nobody Love (Tori Kelly): I think this song suits Rayvon's vibe of what he's great at and I really hope he considers doing this song.
Qaasim - Legend (Drake): I don't know it seemed to suit him best.
Quentin - Chains (Nick Jonas): I think this song suits Quentin's moody vibe that he's been giving over the past few weeks and I think it could be a real moment for him.
Joey - Dear Future Husband (Meghan Tranior): This suits Joey's quirky vibe unless she has come up with another song with a killer rearrangement

Top 8 Rankings
After finally saying goodbye to Daniel Seavey this is where the rest of the contestants lie after such a strong night tonight.
8th: Qaasim Middleton (-): Qaasim is by far the weakest of all of the 8 contestants but I do see him trying to improve which I have to applaud for his efforts. Unfortunately his efforts just aren't enough compared to the other vocalists he's against.
7th: Quentin Alexander (-3): Quentin wasn't bad this week he just really needs to work on his pitch issues which are becoming a problem for him week after week. I really hope he can figure it all out like last week and give the performances he needs before it's too late.
6th: Rayvon Owen (+1): Rayvon has yet again improved his game. I think he needs to work on consistency if he wants to last in this season. I think the key to this season is staying consistent and in your lane of what makes you great. When people go outside of the lines, it is then they get sent home.
5th: Nick Fradiani (-2): Nick this week was only okay. I think he needs to really have a huge moment and impact the voters like I thought he would after "Babylon". He's been great week in and week out, don't get me wrong but I just feel like he needs to find that extra umph of what makes him special.
4th: Tyanna Jones (+1): Tyanna stayed consistently good this week which was great to see, however, her pitch has been off in spots the last few weeks. I don't know if it's nerves or what it is that is hindering Tyanna's performances but she can do so much better than what she's been delievering even though she's been great.
3rd: Joey Cook (+3): I never knew how much I was going to grow to love Joey as this competition has progressed. I just find her style to be so unique and throwback to the 1950's which is a fun thing to see come into play on American Idol. I think if she doesn't try what she did last week again she could be a real contender for the crown.
2nd: Jax (-): I think America will be all wrong if Jax and Clark are not the finale. Honestly minus Blank Space on Jax's end, week in and week out these two have dominated every performance night which has been amazing to see. I think Jax has only done slightly worse than Clark only because of her hinder with Blank Space. The two of them are evenly matched that I feel like if they are the finale it will be a real showdown to see who wins.
1st: Clark Beckham (-): The past 3 weeks have been Clark's weeks on the show. In my honest opinion this competition is Clark's to lose. I think he's been smart from week to week picking songs that have been great, moments, or good from him. I think unless he hits an awful blunder there is no stopping Clark on his way to victory.
Top 8 Performance Rankings
Wow tonight was full of amazing performances by the original American Idol, Miss Kelly Clarkson who took the stage and slayed the world with her audition song "At Last". Honestly tonight couldn't have been more perfect from almost everyone nailing their performances to Daniel's elimination which has been a long time coming. I am just so proud of all the contestants tonight and I can officially say the competition has begun.
8th: Qaasim Middleton - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger): Okay there were quite a lot of things I liked about this performance. First Qaasim tried to do something different with the song to suit his lacking voice which was a plus. If he had just kept to the melody that he originally had it would have been just an okay performance. Unfortunately for himself, Qaasim tried to stretch out his voice into ranges he does not have which is what ultimately made this performance a trainwreck. Status: Most likely going home.
7th: Nick Fradiani - Catch My Breath: Nick was not bad by any stretch of the imagination. In fact on a normal night I would have ranked him middle of the pack. Unfortunately for Nick tonight everyone decided to give one of their strongest performances while he gave just an average one. I hope America keeps him around over Qaasim but I'm not holding my breath. Status: Not Safe.
6th: Quentin Alexander - Dark Side: There were parts I loved about this performance and then there were parts where Quentin missed the notes completely. I honestly can say that Quentin yet again brought it for the 3rd week in a row and I am so proud of him for tonight. Status: Not Safe.
5th: Tyanna Jones - Mr. Know It All: Like Quentin, Tyanna had another really good performance but she had some notes of the song where she hit a rough patch in her voice. Her performance however was very emotionally connected which is what I feel put her above Quentin in the sense that I got a feeling of who Tyanna was telling off in the song and that she felt strongly that her bullies didn't know a thing about her. Status: Not Safe.
4th: Joey Cook - Miss Independent: She's baaaaaaaack! This is the Joey I missed so much the innovative thinker who comes up with her own stamp on a classic by any artist. I think Joey has really found her lane and has found what works best for her. If she just stays in that lane until the finale I think she could do extremely well. Status: Safe for the week.
3rd: Rayvon Owen - Since U Been Gone: Welcome back to the competition Rayvon! The vocal on this was so gorgeous that if Daniel had beaten him out in the sing off I would have screamed because I felt every emotion of that song when Rayvon hit the stage to sing for his survival. I am so pleased that America saw what I saw in him tonight which is a guy we haven't seen for quite sometime who is the R&B Male contender for the top but has he come too late? Which is what I asked myself last week when he performed well and he ended up in the bottom 2. I hope he can rank better than that this week but I'm unsure if it will happen. Status: Not Safe.
2nd: Jax - Beautiful Disaster: Losing to Clark by the slightest hair is Jax with another big moment of the season. Her performance was just so gorgeous in it's simplicity. That's what I love the most about Jax is when she keeps it simple it's those performances I feel like I treasure the most because it shows how gorgeous her tone is and what things she can do to standout from the crowd. Tonight was no exception and she was just fantastic. Status: Safe for the week.
1st: Clark Beckham - The Trouble With Love Is: With yet another moment of the season is Clark Beckham who seems to be striking them all out of the park. I am so pleased hearing Clark from week to week. He has yet to really falter and be off. He's had performances where he could do better but I genuinely think he's the only contestant who has yet to falter hard. Status: Safe for the week, moment of the season.

Top 9 Rankings
We said goodbye to Adanna Duru and Maddie Walker, Adanna was gaining so much momentum I'm sad to see her go so soon. Maddie kept falling so it was probably best she left when she did. Anywho here we go with the Top 9 rankings!
9th: Daniel Seavey (+2): This should come as no surprise that Daniel is last again in my rankings, while he did perform a lot better this week, last week was just so awful there is no way, shape, or form that he can surpass the bottom of the pack.
8th: Qaasim Middleton (+2): Eh Qaasim was just so boring this week and brought nothing new to the table so he remains about the same in my rankings. I hope he goes back to his entertaining ways soon otherwise he'll be out faster than he was saved.
7th: Rayvon Owen (+2): Rayvon made some great strides this week with his performance which I was really glad to see him getting back to form. I'm not sure if Rayvon is starting to do well a little too late because I think he may not be able to save himself in a competition as cutthroat as this season.
6th: Joey Cook (-2): This week was the week that wasn't for Joey. Her last few performances have been so stellar and this week she just fell short of the high standard that she has set for herself. I think she really needs to watch her song choices and just make sure she gets everybody on board because I feel she's just a love them or hate them contestant and I'd hate to see her gone so soon based on bad song choices.
5th: Tyanna Jones (+1): She's baaaaaaaack! I was so glad to see Tyanna return to form this week with her performance. While it wasn't perfect it was a start to avoid last week's horror show. I hope Tyanna keeps being smart about her song choices and continues to nail them from week to week. I feel like now that the R&B diva lane is cleared she will have no problem sailing through to the semifinals.
4th: Quentin Alexander (+3): For two weeks in a row I have been so blown away by Quentin's breath taking performances and I am so proud to see how far this wildcard has come. He has been winning me over week in and week out lately. I hope he keeps up this momentum because he may just knock out a few front runners along the way if he does.
3rd: Nick Fradiani (-): Nick had yet another great week this week, for the first time I truly felt connected to Nick and the lyrics of the song. I also felt like he was truly fighting for his spot in the Top 9 which is always great to see. I really am hoping that he keeps this up and can make it all the way to the final 3.
2nd: Jax (-1): I hate bringing her down after having the first moment of the season but Clark had the second moment of the season because he performed after her. This week for Jax was just pure perfection and it just made me excited for her again like her audition. I really hope she can keep surprising us with her incredible performances because I feel if she does this from week to week, she could quite possibly win.
1st: Clark Beckham (+1): CLARK IS IN IT TO WIN IT!!! Just kidding. Gosh I hated when Randy kept saying that in Season 10. Anyway this week Clark just provided us with the most gorgeous moment of the season with just him and the piano singing "Every Breath You Take". This took me back to House Of Blues when he sang "Georgia On My Mind" and just what a huge moment that was for him. I am just really hoping that he can keep these incredible performances coming because I'm loving every second of it!

Top 8 - Kelly Clarkson
Clark Beckham - Where Is Your Heart (on piano): This song is a gorgeous piano driven ballad which has proven to be Clark's strong suit. I really hope he considers this song this week because I feel like it could be a real moment for him like this week was.
Daniel Seavey - My Life Would Suck Without You: If the cast of Season 9 could handle this song Daniel could as well. It's one of Kelly's less challenging songs which is why I really hope he will pick it.
Jax - Already Gone (Acoustic Version): This song would litterally be perfect for Jax due to the gorgeous rendition Kelly did live. I really hope she picks this song because it would be complete perfection!
Joey Cook - Ready: This song sounds so much like a really quirky Joey type song and out of all the songs I listened to it just seemed to be the best option for her to perform this week. It was difficult finding a song to suit Joey.
Nick Fradiani - Catch My Breath: I think if this song was lowered a bit it would be right in Nick's wheelhouse of what he does best. Finding Kelly songs for guys is hard just because of how high she sings.
Qaasim Middleton - Behind These Hazel Eyes: Another easy song to sing it's just hard to find anything for Qaasim with this theme.
Quentin Alexander - Beautiful Disaster (Live Version): This song could really suit Quentin's voice and style. I think he could really have another moment with this song.
Rayvon Owen - The Trouble With Love Is: I think this song is what Rayvon needs to do this week to impress the judges with his style and voice. No falsetto notes this time okay Rayvon, I hate falsetto.
Tyanna Jones - Walk Away: Tyanna seems to be at her best with uptempo songs. I think this could be another slaytastic performance of Tyanna's. She picked the song I suggested last week. I hope she keeps up that streak!

Top 9 Performance Rankings
Last night we said goodbye to Maddie Walker and Adanna Duru. I was sad to see them go especially Adanna who I feel delivered a great performance last week. Anyway onto the Top 9's performances. There were quite a few huge moments that happened tonight for at least 5 of the 9 contestants which is exciting however for the other 4 they have a lot to fear going forward. (more like any of those 4 whose name isn't Daniel Seavey)
9th - Daniel Seavey - You Make My Dreams: Words can not explain how angry I am at America for giving him a pass for last week's horror show. Maybe that played into my ranking with Daniel. This kid does not belong on American Idol. I don't know how many times I can say that. He has a good voice but he came into the competition at a time when he was a 2/10 instead of waiting until he was a solid 7/10. I really feel like if he doesn't go home soon Idol may be in some serious trouble. Status: Not Safe.
8th - Qaasim Middleton - Addicted To Love: Unlike Qaasim's other performances this one was just so boring and didn't do anything for me. His vocals were a lot better but his lack of performance in that performance just wasn't the Qaasim I'm used to. And also Qaasim and JLo, Qaasim is not a great vocalist. I don't know where you got that lie from. Status: Not Safe.
7th - Joey Cook - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun: Oh Joey, you built yourself up so high these last two weeks I hated to see it all come down after this week's performance. Now don't get me wrong it wasn't awful but it just was okay and cutesy. If Joey wants to make it to the Top and beat out Daniel Seavey she has to bring her A game until he leaves. Status: Not Safe.
6th - Rayvon Owen - Everybody Wants To Rule The World: This performance of Rayvon's finally made me remember what I loved about him in the first place. I'm glad he's starting to return to form, however, I just feel like this season is so competitive more than any other season before and I don't know if his comeback is too late. Status: Not Safe.
5th - Quentin Alexander - In The Air Tonight: Quentin has really come a long way since starting out as a wildcard. I am so proud of him and these past two weeks have been real moments for him. I think if he keeps this momentum up he could be ensuring himself a spot in the Top 5 at least. I think he may be the underdog to knock out a few front runners. Status: Safe for the week.
4th - Tyanna Jones - I Wanna Dance With Somebody: She's baaaaaaaack! I am so glad to see Tyanna return to form and pick another great song for herself which excites me to see what she might be doing the next few weeks. I hope she keeps picking the right songs on her idol journey because of all the front runners she stumbled the hardest. Status: Safe for the week.
3rd - Nick Fradiani - Man In The Mirror: This song from Nick was just gorgeous and I think this was his best performance to date. Honestly if he keeps bringing it from week to week he could really be a force to be reckoned with. Status: Safe for the week.
2nd - Jax - You Give Love A Bad Name: Tonight Jax came completly back with avengance for "Blank Space". This was probably one of the two big moments of the season which I was so thrilled to see come from Jax. I feel like she really solidified herself as the girl to beat this season. Status: Safe for the week. Standout!
1st - Clark Beckham - Every Breat You Take: Yet another breath taking moment of the season came from Clark this week with his stunning piano driven rendition of Every Breath You Take. This is the Clark I fell in love with during Hollywood week. I am so glad he is back again to slay the competition. I think this season is really gearing up to a Clax finale and I would love every minute of that if it were to occur. Status: Safe for the week.

Who WILL be the Bottom 3:

Top 11 Redux - 80's Week song choice Reaction
Hello and welcome to 80's week the studio versions are up on iTunes and the contestants have all picked out their songs. Today I will be reacting to the samples of the studio versions and based on that what I expect to happen on the show.
Adanna Duru - I Hate Myself For Loving You: I thought it was a good song choice for Adanna but the studio version is a bit shouty which is something I fear for Adanna with. If she can control her voice live I think this could be great.
Clark Beckham - Every Breath You Take: I love how he changed it to a piano driven ballad which I think really works for his voice. This song has been done many times on the show but I think Clark's version will be the most successful .
Daniel Seavey - You Make My Dreams: This is actually the best I've heard Daniel sing I think he picked the best song he could have and worked with what he had.
Jax - You Give Love A Bad Name: I love this arrangement Jax came up with for the song it brought me back to Bang Bang Jax which I think is a smart move on her part.
Joey Cook - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun: I'm not really a fan of this Joey performance whereas her last few performances have been spot on this one is just okay at best it just doesn't show Joey's brilliance like in "Fancy" and "Mad World".
Maddie Walker - Every Rose Has It's Thorn: This reminds me of the Maddie I fell in love with during Hollywood Week. I love her so much and this choice sounds amazing on Maddie. I just hope when she gets to the live show she can connect to the audience because that's what she needs to do to be pushed over the edge in live shows.
Nick Fradiani - Man In The Mirror: This was a good song choice for Nick. I think he does really well with it. I wish it had more of a wow factor than it does but I think it's good.
Qaasim Middleton - Addicted To Love: This is probably the best vocal I've heard from Qaasim in the studio version. We'll see if that caries over into live shows.
Quentin Alexander - In The Air Tonight: Quentin's studio version is good but it just does nothing for me. Last week I loved what he did. This week he let me down.
Rayvon Owen - Everybody Wants To Rule The World: I think this song really suits Rayvon's voice my only worry with this song is that it doesn't translate well live. His studio is gorgeous but I just worry about the live performance.
Tyanna Jones - I Wanna Dance With Somebody: Thank you Tyanna for listening to my song suggestion! This song was everything I expected from Tyanna which is pure perfection
Adanna Duru - I Hate Myself For Loving You: I thought it was a good song choice for Adanna but the studio version is a bit shouty which is something I fear for Adanna with. If she can control her voice live I think this could be great.

Top 11 Redux Rankings
Wow ranking the same contestants all over again here we go!
11th: Daniel Seavey (-1): Ugh Daniel...This week was a complete trainwreck. His other weeks have just been so weak compared to the other contestants on the show. I really hope America does us right and votes him off this week because he is so undeserving to still be in the competition.
10th: Qaasim Middleton (+1): Qaasim definitely improved this week with his performance. I still don't get why he got the save. It's baffling to me. I hope he leaves soon because he should've been gone this week.
9th: Rayvon Owen (-3): Oh Rayvon he has been falling fast every week I am just so annoyed with him. Please get out of your falsetto and start singing in your chest voice.
8th: Maddie Walker (-): Maddie has just been average so far in the competition. I don't love her and I don't hate her. I mean she just needs to have a moment of conversion just like Joey did.
7th: Quentin Alexander (+2): Quentin is improving at the right time which makes me so excited to see what he does in the competition. I really can't wait to see how well he does in the competition. You all know I love underdogs.
6th: Tyanna Jones (-5): Oh Tyanna this week was not your week. In a competition as cut throat as Idol has been this season she needs to continue stepping it up if she wants to win this season.
5th: Adanna Duru (+2): Adanna seriously has stepped it up in the competition. These past two weeks have really been some of her finest moments in the competition. I'm really hoping that she can keep this momentum up because if she does she could beat out Tyanna if Tyanna has another off week.
4th: Joey Cook (+1): Queen Joey is baaaaaaaaaack Oh my gosh Joey has seriously blown me away these last two weeks. I am so excited to see what she does from this point on. I really hope she can continue the ground work she's been laying out for herself.
3rd: Nick Fradiani (-1): Nick had a great week, unfortunately the judges didn't think so. I really hope he can start winning over the judges from week to week because otherwise he might lose out to Clark big time.
2nd: Clark Beckham (+2): He's Baaaaaaaaack! Thank you Clark for bringing a great performance and for singing a current song. He slayed two things I was really worried about him doing on the show. I think if he picks great songs he could really win the entire show.
1st: JAX (+2): THIS IS THE JAX I HAVE BEEN WANTING SINCE HER AUDITION! This performance was so simple it's beautiful. I really hope she keeps this momentum up if she wants any shot of winning.

Top 9 Week - 80's
Well the theme for Top 9 has been revealed as 80's here are my suggestions for what each of the contestants should do!
Adanna Duru - We Belong (Pat Benatar): I think this song would really suit Adanna's strong vocals and it could be great from her.
Clark Beckham - Don't Dream It's Over (Crowded House): Oh my gosh Clark needs to do this song it would just show his amazing tone and voice.
Daniel Seavey - Straight Up (Paula Abdul): You know what they say 4th time's the charm?
Jax - Addicted To Love (Skylar Grey Version): Oh my gosh this song would suit Jax's style so well and just be that reserved gorgeous thing I love about her. I really hope she goes with this choice.
Joey Cook - Bette Davis Eyes (Kim Carnes): I think this song would suit Joey's quirky voice and she could do well with it.
Maddie Walker - I Think We're Alone Now (Tiffany): I think this song would suit Maddie really well.
Nick Fradiani - Every Rose Has It's Thorn (Poison): I think this song would be perfect with Nick's smooth voice and could really showcase everything he has.
Qaasim Middleton - Jump (Van Halen): I think this song would be consistent with what he does on the show.
Quentin Alexander - Fame (Amy Gerhartz Version): This would be amazing coming from Quentin and it would fit into what he's been doing in the competition.
Rayvon Owen - Girls Just Want To Have Fun (Glee Version): Rayvon could have a real moment with this song. I think he would do great with this.
Tyanna Jones - I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Whitney Houston): I think this is a great choice for Tyanna and could really show off her voice!
Adanna Duru - We Belong (Pat Benatar): I think this song would really suit Adanna's strong vocals and it could be great from her.

Top 11 Redux Performances.
Hello and welcome to the biggest waste of the save! This is American Idol 14! Okay first I want to say I think Qaasim really fought for the save like this was his last performance. I'll give him a lot of credit in that department. My problem lies with the judges for using the save on someone who I just feel has no shot to win. Last week when Sarina went home the save to me could be understandable because I feel like Sarina could win. With Qaasim I'm glad he gets to head out on the tour but he is far from a front runner and was absolutely deserving to leave. I thought it was great that he went out with a bang. I was not expecting the one save of the season to be used on him. Judges, if any of the real front runners leave early because of your mistake you only have yourselves to blame. So don't be crying when Clark, Jax, Nick, Tyanna, Joey, etc. are in need of the save and you can't give it to them. This is your doing. I swear if Daniel passes any of them because of the judges save I think it's high time we get new judges if this occurs or at least let the save be AMERICA's choice. Because after all this is AMERICAN Idol not JUDGES Idol.
Anyway moving on here, here's how I felt about tonight.
11th: Daniel Seavey - Lost Stars: I can't even begin to explain what kinds of wrong this performance was. First off the lyrics were unsuited for a 15 year old kid who looks like he just graduated kindergarten. Also the vocals were horrible. This was quite possibly one of the worst performances I have ever heard on the Idol stage. Status: Going home, I sure as hell hope.
10th: Rayvon Owen - Stayin' Alive: Okay I just really hate falsetto on guys. I can't explain why but it's a pet peeve of mine. I especially can't stand the Bee Gees voices so when I heard Rayvon was doing this song I was cringing. I have to say I loved how he changed up the arrangement and made it his own. I just wished he would've stayed out of the falsetto and in his chest voice because it's just not appealing to my ears. Status: In danger of leaving.
9th: Maddie Walker - Let's Hear It For The Boy: Oh Maddie. This performance wasn't terrible it just didn't do anything for me. She sounded good but there was just nothing that was special about this to me which is why I fear for her safety. Status: In danger of leaving.
8th: Qaasim Middleton - Come Together: Qaasim's performance was probably one of the best he's done on the show. I enjoyed how involved he was with the crowd and how the very last note at the end went for him. There was a certain spark about this performance that read, I'm fighting for my life on the show, don't send me home. I thought it was a good performance but it was not worthy of the save. Even though it was the best he could do, sometimes your best isn't good enough. Status: Safe for the week because of the save.
7th: Tyanna Jones - The Circle Of Life: This wasn't terrible from Tyanna in the least. Her vocals were just too big for this song. I thought she handled it well but I was really hoping for a real moment from her because so far she's been great but I just haven't seen a moment from her. I think if she doesn't step it up soon Adanna could take her over. Status: Safe for the week.
6th: Adanna Duru - Love You I Do: This performance showed again a lot of what Adanna can do in the competition and it showed her as a force to be reckoned with. I actually think if she can keep a steady pace and out perform Tyanna she could quite possibly knock her out. Status: Safe for the week.
5th: Joey Cook - Mad World: Joey has killed it for two weeks in a row which I applaud her on. Her version, although it was a huge moment for Adam Lambert in Season 8 it just kind of made me forget his version and fall in love with her version which is no easy feat to do. I think if she keeps surprising us from week to week I think she could seriously make at least Top 5. Status: Safe for the week.
4th: Clark Beckham - Sunday Morning: I loved this performance from Clark, I'm glad he finally decided to go for a more recent song and made it his own and KILLED IT! I hope that with next week's theme he can keep showing America he can be a modern singer and have hit songs now rather than in the 60's where he seemed to be stuck in. Status: Safe for the week.
3rd: Jax - Grow Old With You: She's baaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Jax just came back with a vengeance. I am just so glad she's returning to form of what we saw in Hollywood, the girl with so much potiental that she could win the entire show. Jax, if I want to give you any advice it's to stay away from too big of an arrangement for your sweet tone. If you want some uptempo take note of your own BANG BANG because that performance had the perfect balance of soft and hardness. Status: Safe for the week.
2nd: Nick Fradiani - Danger Zone: This was such a moment for Nick and I loved how he changed up the song and made it work for him. I just feel like the judges were a little too hard on him for this performance. I really hope next week he can bring them onboard with his performance. Status: Safe for the week.
1st: Quentin Alexander - You're The One That I Want: Okay this just brought me back to what he did with "I Put A Spell On You" like Adanna I feel like Quentin is stepping it up every week and I think he has a really good chance of staying in the competition for a very long time. Status: Safe for the week, standout performance of the night.
Who SHOULD Go Home;
Daniel Seavey, Rayvon Owen
Who WILL Go Home:
Daniel Seavey, Maddie Walker
I won't count Rayvon as safe quite yet but I just feel like he might just scrape by another week.

Suggestions for the Top 11 for the Top 10 theme of Movies
I just saw the theme for next week is Movies. Here are my suggestions:
Adanna Duru - Bound To You (Burlesque): This song could really be a moment for Adanna if she picks it for this theme. I think she could really kill it on this song.
Clark Beckham - Everything I Do (I Do It For You) [Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves]: Honestly if Clark played the piano on this song and sung it, it would be the perfect song for him. I know it's been done many times on the idol stage but I feel like he could do great on it.
Daniel Seavey - Hallelujah (Shrek): Eh he's done it once before I really don't feel like looking through songs for him.
Jax - The Hanging Tree (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1): I think this song is in Jax's sweet spot of her voice and I could really see her having a real moment with this song.
Joey Cook - N/A: I can't really pick a song because Joey seems to put interesting twists on her own songs. I hope whatever she does she picks a song that her twist works on.
Maddie Walker - A Thousand Years (Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1): I really feel like if Maddie can really connect with this song it really could be great from her.
Nick Fradiani - Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman (Don Juan DeMarco): I know it's another overdone song but if Nick played his guitar and sang this song it would be just another gorgeous vocal from him.
Qaasim Middleton - Ain't Too Proud To Beg (The Big Chill): Eh. It's uptempo I thought I suited what he's been doing.
Quentin Alexander - It Will Rain (Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1): This would actually be beautiful with Quentin's voice. I think if he survives it would be great.
Rayvon Owen - Unchained Melody (Ghost): Rayvon's vocals could really soar on this song and I feel like he could really make this performance a moment for him because no one who has done this song has really ever done it incredibly (of the seasons I've watched that is).
Tyanna Jones - Listen (Dreamgirls): This could be the song that sends Tyanna over the top with her performance on this. I honestly think if she does this song it could really solidify her spot in the Top of the Top 10.

Top 11 Performance Ranking, Thoughts on 12th Place.
I am so disappointed in America this week by voting out one of the top competitors in this entire competition named Sarina Joi Crowe. Honestly it is complete BLASPHEMY that the likes of Daniel Seavey and Qaasim Middleton, who have weaker voices than Sarina have advanced while Sarina is our first casualty in the Top 12. While this season is full of so many talented people, I just am so upset at the judges moreso than anyone else that Sarina did not get the save. Honestly this was a PERFECT example like Season 10 with Casey Abrams of why the save should be used this early in the competition yet the judges decided against it. Are they trying to tell us that the other 11 are all more deserving than Sarina to get the save? Honestly I just feel only a select few of them are more deserving than her of getting the save. Therefore if one of them is in need of the save and receive it. Then and only then can I accept Sarina's fate. Anyway moving on to the performances.
11th - Qaasim Middleton - Jet: Ugh....Qaasim even knows his vocals are lackluster. Honestly this performance is the perfect example as to why America should've sent him home this week. I think this was one of the worst performances all season. I swear if he survives this one (unless Daniel leaves instead) I will just feel like this season my go down in flames. Status: Not Safe, most likely going home (I can hope)
10th - Daniel Seavey - Happy: Let me say this, Daniel is not a bad singer. I think he has his really good moments in songs but I can not fathom why he survived this week's cut. To all the teenage girls who are out there voting for him because they think he's cute just please stop. He's an okay singer but he just can not compare to the talent this season has in store. Status: Not Safe, could be going home.
9th - Rayvon Owen - Burn: This performance just left me with a lot to be desired for from Rayvon. Quite honestly I think he really does have a very strong voice but tonight he was just off which is so unusual for him. I think due to the vote splitting between the R&B guys he could be in some serious trouble if he doesn't step it up. Status: Not Safe.
8th - Maddie Walker - She's Country: One thing I have to say about Maddie is I am so glad to see her really trying to perform. She is still very much in her head but I just think with the right amount of coaching she really could be the one who surprises us with a stellar performance week after week. I do have to say for tonight her vocals were shaky. I hope she does survive because I feel like she has room to grow. Status: Not Safe.
7th - Quentin Alexander - Rolling In The Deep: He performed pretty well and did use the song to suit him which I was really glad about. It just was okay for me and I just know he can do so much better than this. That being said and the fact that he was the strongest R&B guy tonight I think he may have the upper hand for this week. Status: Most likely safe but he could be in the bottom.
6th - Jax - Blank Space: To me the judges came down waaaaaaaaaay too hard on Jax. Sure it wasn't a stellar performance like her last few weeks were but to me it was far off from a mess. It was not her strongest week, however I just feel like she gave it her all and really performed well to the song even though it wasn't a wowing performance. Status: Most likely safe but could be in the bottom.
5th - Nick Fradiani - Wake Me Up: This wasn't Nick's strongest week on Idol but he was far from the bottom of the pack. I've heard him do a lot better but then again he was saved for the end of the show and had to be incredibly nervous before performing. I just hope that when he comes back next week he can come back a lot stronger like his other performances. Status: Safe for the week.
4th - Clark Beckham - Taking It To The Street: This performance was good but not great from Clark. I thought it was okay but I've seen him really tear up the stage in the past and this performance just didn't show what he could do. I'm really hoping he gets another chance to show America what he truly is made of like last week. Status; Safe for the week.
3rd - Tyanna Jones - Tightrope: Tyanna kills it yet again for another week! Honestly Tyanna seems almost unstoppable and her song choices seem to be getting better which I am thrilled to see. Quite honestly she looks the most like she is on the fast track to winning this entire show because she has yet to really falter. Status: Safe for the week, without a doubt.
2nd - Adanna Duru - Runaway Baby: YES! Ever since she got the wildcard slot Adanna has been stepping it up week after week. I am seriously excited to see this, If Adanna continues to play her cards right and controls her voice she could be the first wildcard to ever win American Idol. Status; Safe for the week.
1st - Joey Cook - Fancy: YES YES YES YES!!! This was everything Joey needed this week to really make her standout. I could literally listen to her version of this song all day. Her voice and this song were just a perfect match, Her arrangement just suited her to a t. If the audience can really get Joey I think she really could be a force to be reckoned with. Status: Safe for the week, standout performance of the night.
Okay for my predictions here we go:
Who SHOULD be the bottom 3:
Qaasim, Daniel, and Rayvon
'
Who WILL be the bottom 3:
Qaasim, Daniel, and Rayvon (although I could see Maddie replacing one of them)
Who SHOULD go home:
Qaasim
Who WILL go home:
Rayvon (because America is cruel)

Top 12 Performances Rankings
Hello and welcome back to my Top 12 rankings. Okay YAY Top 12 I am so happy with almost everyone in the Top 12 so here we go with my rankings.
12th: Daniel Seavey - Straight Up: Oh Daniel...he forgot his words and then just was so lackluster compared to the other contestants still in the competition. I'm still so surprised that he made it in on America's vote over Quentin. Status: Not Safe.
11th: Qaasim Middleton - Sir Duke: Ugh Qaasim took a step back just like I feared he would. I just think that he may be in danger of going soon if he doesn't step it up. Status: Not Safe.
10th: Maddie Walker - Suitcase: I loved Maddie's voice on this song the problem with Maddie is the fact that she looked nervous and unsure of herself when she was performing. Out of the Top 12 most of them looked a lot more comfortable than Maddie. I think she needs to learn to be more comfortable before her time runs out. Status: Not Safe.
9th: Joey Cook - King Of Spain: I actually love Joey's voice and tone and I thought she did a great rendition of the song. Unfortunately I just feel the others out did Joey. I liked her but I didn't love her. Status: Safe for the week.
8th: Quentin Alexander - Royals: This was a good performance from Quentin but it just wasn't a standout for me. I'm glad he got the wildcard and I'm glad he's still is in the competition but I think he needs to step it up from this point forward. Status: Not Safe.
7th: Sarina Joi Crowe - Love Runs Out: I actually liked this performance but yet again Sarina was just beaten out by some of the other contestants who performed tonight. It just had something missing from the performance. Status: Not Safe.
6th: Adanna Duru - You and I: I really loved the start of the performance. Adanna is great and her performance tonight showed a lot of her great vocals but there were points in the song where I felt her oversinging. I really hope she can continue to grow as the competition moves forward. I'm glad the judges brought her back as the wildcard. Status: Safe for the week.
5th: Tyanna Jones - Wings: This is probably the best I've heard Tyanna throughout the whole competition and I am so proud of her for giving this incredible performance. For me this is exactly what she needs to continue to do week after week if she wants to stay in the competition for a long time. Status: Safe for the week.
4th: Rayvon Owen - Wide Awake: His voice gave me chills throughout the whole performance and I am so glad he's been performing at the top level he can week after week. I just feel like Rayvon could be the one to beat if he keeps up this steady pace. Status: Safe for the week.
3rd: Jax - I Wanna Hold Your Hand: Jax could have easily took the number 1 spot had she recreated her audition's performance of the song. I really thought the beginning was flawless and that she should not have brought the band in and gone back to the original arrangement. What made her audition so memorable was that slowed down version of the song. It was still great but I just wanted the extra specialness she brought in her audition. Status: Safe for the week.
2nd: Nick Fradiani - In Your Eyes: Nick's acoustic and beautiful performance was just exactly what he needed to bring to the table tonight. I could seriously listen to him all day and not be sick of his voice. Status: Safe for the week.
1st: Clark Beckham - It's A Man's Man's Man's World: YES HE IS BACK AMERICA! I am so thrilled Clark had his comeback tonight with this song. Last week was just mediocre for me I was just hoping for something special. Tonight Clark really brought his A game making another moment out of the song once done incredibly by one Joshua Ledet. Status; Safe with the standout performance of the night.
Who SHOULD be the bottom 3:
Daniel, Qaasim, Maddie
Who WILL be the bottom 3:
Daniel, Qaasim, Sarina
Who SHOULD go home:
Daniel
Who WILL go home:
Qaasim

Top 12 Rankings
*AGAIN SPOILERS* But I will rank the Top 12, I know it's right after Top 16 performances and not too much has changed but this will be more how I think America will place them combined with my personal opinions so I hope you enjoy.
12th: Daniel Seavey - Not surprisingly Daniel comes in 12th. I don't hate him. He is okay but I just feel like compared to the other competitors I feel that Daniel just pails in comparison.
11th: Quentin Alexander - My fear for Quentin is that he may be out sung by Rayvon and out entertained by Qaasim. He has a lot competition with the guys which is why I feel he will end up here.
10th: Adanna Duru - Yet another wildcard who I feel is in fear of leaving early due to being in a competition with Sarina and Tyanna who I feel are miles ahead of her. I think unless Adanna has a moment almost every week she may leave early due to being in a competition with superior girls.
9th: Joey Cook - Joey has a love/hate relationship with America I believe. Either you get her or you don't. Early on when the spoilers first came out I said she reminded me of a more polished Megan Joy. I think she's good but I just worry that not everyone will get her so she ends up here.
8th: Qaasim Middleton - Qaasim is entertaining but I think his lack of vocals on the song will soon catch up to him and get him sent home. I do enjoy Qaasim but I don't think he's got the skills Rayvon has.
7th: Maddie Walker - I think Maddie is great and I think the country vote will carry her this far in the competition. I don't know if she's going to win but I think if she performs like she did in Hollywood and lets go I think she could go incredibly far.
6th: Tyanna Jones - I love Tyanna's voice but I think her competing for votes against Sarina will finally catch up to her ultimately ending her journey although she could end up beating Sarina if she picks the right song.
5th: Clark Beckham - I feel like Clark will end himself being a shock boot due to the way he has been setting himself up lately. I love him but I just fear since he and Nick are competing for the same vote Nick will ultimately knock Clark out.
4th: Rayvon Owen - I love Rayvon's voice it is so smooth and great. I feel like if he can pick the right songs as the competition goes on he could really set himself up to win the entire show.
3rd: Jax - Since American Idol always seems to have my favorites go home in 3rd lately I believe this will be Jax's place. I love her so much and I just can't see her getting any other place. I hope she wins but you know.
2nd: Sarina Joi Crowe - Sarina's voice is amazing and I feel like she could really bring some amazing performances to the show. I feel like she wouldn't win in the final 2 with Nick because a girl is not likely to win.
1st: Nick Fradiani - I feel like Nick is setting himself up to win the entire season. From the moment I saw his audition I felt like their was something really great about him and ultimately I just think America will choose him as their winner.
